The set has three fidgets in ball, pyramid, and cube shapes to provide three-dimensional input, and with sand filling for tactile discrimination. The sand shapes are versatile for use as beanbags, and measure approximately 3 inches. Abilitations SandShapes Sensory and Fidget Set, Set of 3 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect fidget My students love these sand filled, vinyl fidgets. The vinyl is thick and durable for hard squeezing. The sand inside gives the objects some weight. You can also rub the sand between the vinyl for a unique sensory feeling. The size of each shape was larger than I expected, but still is manageable for my students to hold and focus at the same time. The cube measures 2" on each side. The triangle measures 3" on each side. The ball is approx. 2.5" in diameter. I ordered two sets so that students would not argue about who had what shape. I recommend that students wash their hands prior to handling the shapes because the covering will pick up oily dirt from hands.
