Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great resource My students love this game! Teaching prekindergarten math skills can sometimes be a challenge, especially when trying to introduce simple addition and subtraction. This game is a great way to introduce those skills without boring or overwhelming students.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun way to engage younger kids with math This math skills game from Learning Resources is another win in their column! Featuring cute cartoon ladybugs all with numbers on their spots, children are challenged to fill their spots by adding the number on the ladybug to a spot to equal 10. For example, if your ladybug's open spot has a two on it, you need to get a spot with the eight. You can play this competitively, by flipping spots one at a time and having whoever is the fastest to grab it - first one to fill their ladybug, wins! Or, the first few times we played, we played cooperatively. We each had a ladybug and as we went through the game, we would figure out what would get us to 10 (phrasing it different each time as to get them used to the different math terms) and then finding who needed that number.
